Terms and conditions

 

Article 1 : Duration of the stay : The tenant, signatory of the renting contract, which has been agreed for a specific duration shall not be under any circumstances entitled or eligible the right to maintain occupancy in the premise at the end of the stay.

Article 2 : The booking becomes effective when the deposit has been paid. The rental agreement concluded on this contract between parties can not be transferred (even partially) to third parties (unless it has been allowed by the establishment owner upon a written agreement).

Article 3 : Cancellation by the tenant. any cancellation must be notified by email at contact@chantebise.com. Cancellation prior arrival : the owner will keep the deposit. For a cancellation less than 15 days before arrival, then the owner reserves the right to keep the full amount paid. If the tenant does not show up within 24h after the arrival date indicated on the contract, the contract becomes null and void and the owner may freely repossess the promise. The amount of the rental will be retained by the owner. No refund will be provided. In case of a shorter stay, the price of the stay will be fully kept by the owner.

Article 4 : Cancellation by the owner. The owner will refund the amount already paid by the tenant. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days prior arrival, an amount equivalent of the deposit value will be paid to the tenant as compensation.

Article 5 : Arrival : the tenant must show up at the specific day and time indicated on the contract. In the case of delayed or late arrival, the tenant must inform the owner. If the tenant wishes to stay after 10 am on the day of departure, one will not be able to use the rental premise but will be able to use the common area.

Article 6 : The settlement of the balance: The balance of the rental charge must be paid at least 30 days prior arrival.

Article 7 : Inventory. An inventory will be established by the hirer upon arrival and departure of the holiday accommodation. This inventory will be the purpose of legal reference in case of disagreement concerning the conditions of the premise. The state of cleanliness in the cottage at the arrival must be noted in the inventory. The cleaning of the premises is the tenant’s responsibility during the rental period and before his departure unless he has selected the end-of-stay housekeeping option.

Article 8 : Deposit. A security deposit of 200€ is required by the owner and will be given upon arrival at the holiday accommodation. After a satisfactory inventory, the deposit will be refunded to the tenant within 1 week. The cost of restoring the premise will be deducted of this deposit if there is any damage in the property or the cleaning has not been carried out.

Article 9 : The use of leased premise : The tenant will need to be respectful of the peaceful environment, the other tenants in the lease property.
Article 10 Capacity : The holiday accommodation can accommodate a limited number of tenants. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, the owner can refuse additional people. Any change or breach of the agreement in this context will be deemed to be at the fault of the tenant.

Article 11 : Animals : Pets are not allowed in the premise. Except some animals with a weight up to 3 kg can be tolerated (on request). If this rule is disregarded by the tenant, the owner can refuse the stay and no refund will be made.

Article 12 : Insurance. The tenant shall be solely liable for any damage caused during the stay. It is incumbent on the tenant and any other occupants to be covered by a holiday insurance covering this type of risk.
